SORRY, because of health reasons
(mine, not the birds)
I no longer breed these delightful Ringnecks
but am leaving photos and information up
for viewing the various mutations.

   Ringneck Mutations

Ringnecks come in a huge assortment of colors,
they're comical acrobats, easy to train and can become good talkers.
They're a popular favorite of pet owners as well as bird hobbyists.

   BASICS of COLOR BREEDING
Ringnecks come in a large variety of colors, called mutations.
Green is the normal color and from that has come hundreds of other colors and
combination of colors & patterns.

SEX LINKED RECESSIVE
This means the male-ONLY can carry that split.
Mother can be visual but can not carry it recessively.
Sex-linked colors are Lutino, Albino, Cinnamon.
If the mother is NOT a visual of that particular color,
the chick is female.
Example:
if two green birds produce a lutino, it's a female.
But if green x lutino, the lutino chicks could be either sex.

AUTOSOMAL RECESSIVE
This means both parents have to carry that color
in order to produce visuals. Autosomal recessives
are Blue, Turquoise.
Example:
if two green birds produce a blue, you know that both parents  carry that (called splits).  These chicks can be either sex.

These include talking Amazon parrots with incredible vocabularies including tongue twisters, nursery rhymes, animal imitations,
count, spell, sing children's songs.

The parrots also ride around on remote-controlled vehicles and  one does a headstand on the back of the standard poodle.

The parrots ride around on the standard poodle like a horse.

The standard poodle does balancing acts using
multiple items, jumps through hoops, dances,
models clothes
and
tries to stay out of the way of the parrots
chasing her down on their remote vehicles.
